Andy was in the living room, relaxing on the couch, letting his leg air out, and watching the nightly news. At Joey's yell he straightened up a little. "What?"
She followed the sound of his voice to the living room and smiled briefly at the way he was sprawled on the couch. Leaning over the back of the furnature, she ruffled his hair. "That dipstick Allie married. He has a herd of kids. And I'm not joking. 'Proud biological father...' Now can I kill him? Just a little?"
She stood up and put her hands on her hips, looking at him in exasperation because she has to explain things to him. With a sigh, "He jerked off at a spank bank and apparently four unfortunate women got his baby goo. And he's proud of this. Bragging all over the internet like he made these great kids."
She frowned as she studied her husband thoughtfully. "Allie is married to a guy who has four kids wandering around out there. I'd kill you if you sprang that sort of surprise on me. I mean it."
Andy spread his hands in a 'peace, peace' gesture, smiling up at her. "You can sleep easy, honey, because I don't have any surprises like that to spring. When'd he find out about this, anyway?"
She gave him a big smile and leaned over again to kiss his cheek. "That's why I love you." She shrugged and looked at the television for a moment, trying to figure out that the lead story was. "I don't know. He said it was old news. News to me though. And he slapped it up liek some sort of brag board."
She walked around to the front of the couch then, sitting down at one end and lifting his foot to let it rest in her lap. "The jerk. Allie must love that, you know?"
