Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell
Thoroughly and slowly enjoying "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell" by Susanna Clarke. On 14% so far, and wouldn't think of rushing on, rereading so many passages for the sake of such great humor! First page's 3rd paragraph, dare say, made me laugh every time I recollected it. How she achieved such an impressive adaptation of Jane Austen's style, I know not.
