I just had a pretty bad dream about coming back to Alabama it was filled with so many cliches (which I couldn't even pick up on until I woke up) all about being smothered by a town. John King and Nathan Meadows were there to show me how everyone was doing so amazingly and that my stories were pathetic and easily ignored. They would much rather hang out with girls on ecstacy than hear my Mr. Toad's Hilary Duff n Stuff's Wild Ride. They had been to the places I had and they didn't find them very entertaining. They had been able to spend much more money in the places I just slept under a bridge or on a roof. It didn't really make me feel bad or make me think my travels weren't worth it, it just frustrated me that two of the coolest people from my past seemed not to really even care about my return in the least. When I woke up my body was tense pushing down on the bed.
When I was in rehab (which inadvertly was filled with black people otherwise known as african americans) I was told about an incident called having "the" witch sit on you. It's when you wake up and can't move or breath. It's because there is a witch sitting on your chest possibly smothering your face with a pillow or broom. Who knows. When the inmates couldn't convert they looked for testimonials from the guards. They soon decided it was a black thing. I remember a few times as a kid waking up perfectly still. Mainly it seemed like it because I would be lying straight on my back and just happened to open my eyes, which is really an odd way to wake up. It made me wonder if I was paralyzed sometimes. And instead of doing like maybe most people might (which was to just throw their limbs in the air quickly to decide once and for all), I just laid there. I think I pretended to try and flex muscles to no avail. I can't really trust my memories, I was a kid first of all; things are different back then, and it's so long ago.
Another thing I use to do was this. I'll have to set up the room for you. The bed is against two walls one at the head and one on the right side of the bed if you're lying down face up. I would pull the bed out from the wall a smidge (this all started because this happened to me once natually) and try to sleep so that i would fall off the side and get stuck. I did it quite a few times.
It's raining right now. A real rain. It's been raining for a few days now. Ken Jennings is winning thousands in the next room. Per usual.
