Goodness me i got a job

yikes! I'm gonna be working again. I got a job with a small growing compnay. They've been in business for about 15 years. They do the directories for hotels all across the midwest and some east coast and west coast stuff. I'll have sick time vacation time and i'll be salary. In 90 days i'll get an evaluation and will either get a raise or be let go. Its that 90 day trial thing. But i'll tell ya what, I was talking with the business owner for 40 mins while i waited on my interview....he's a small town guy too and we just really had a nice conversation. Hell he gave me a tour of the facility while i waited. (they where running a bit behind on interviews) John took me to the place and while i had my interview he said the owner bairly said 2 words to the guy infront of me and the guy after me. Its good to be from a small town! Now i wont be making major bucks, but cost of living here cheaper than texas and i'm making more than what Amercian color paid me. They are starting me out at 28,500. And in 30 days i might get the rest of what i was asking....lets hope. During the sumer electric usually doesnt get above 150 and right now gas is running about 20 cents cheaper too i think. we are 1.99 in my area at the moment. Casual dress for the most part if i wear jeans they want a nice shirt or cargo pants is fine. I am happy to be in a small enviroment with people who are genually concerned about their customers and doing the job right not just getting it out there so we can charge them for it.

I'm excited. Not workings been nice but hey moeny has to come from somewhere. And I will get insurance! Paying for drugs is gooood.
