Geezums..March Break has passed by so fast that I barely realized it was March Break.
Let's see..I've played a few video games, gone a few places, and now it's nearly over.
In a nutshell:
Monday and Tuesday were spent filming our (one of my group of friend's) annual Marck Break movie. It didn't go nearly as well as last year, but it was pretty fun. Also slept over at Tristan's for that and played many, many video games. It was nice to see Caleb again. I hurt my knee climbing, and I have this big purple and yellow bruise. Not fun. Painful.
On Wednesday, I didn't do much at all. I woke up late and read, and puttered around on the computer, played some video games, and didn't go to karate because of my knee.
Yesterday, Thursday, I spent the day with Ms. Panko in Hochelaga. We went to this bridge covered in graffiti there, and even though it was raining all day, we walked around. We went to Village des Valeurs where I got a multi-coloured chicken shirt (the best way to explain this would be to show a photo, but draw your own conclusions) and Tomo & Hawk by Bryce Courtenay, a hard covered copy for only 8 bucks.
Afterwards, we went to Gerry's Delicatessan and had lunch. I had butterfly shrimp and we had a great conversation.
Then, we headed quickly past Ms. Panko's apartment where I finally got my Donnie Darko DVD back (the disk is in bad shape - I'm scared that it won't play properly. Here's hoping).
We headed downtown and met up with my French teacher, Madame Alarie at Starbucks or some such coffee place, and we had a long conversation there about anime and stuff. She may be planning to have an anime marathon at school. With subbed anime!
I left them, planning to go straight home, but I spotted a store called ArtTec, which Madame Alarie had mentioned earlier. Not having spent very much of the money that my parents had given me, I decided to check the place out. The staff were very helpful and kind, and I ended up buying a sketchbook and a paintbrush for details.
When I came home, I played Chrono Trigger for several hours, and slowly began to decorate my sketchbook.
Now it's today, and here I am, up at 12, and wondering what I'll do with the rest of my day. Probably not very much at all.
