Friday was thaumaturgic because I got to see Vanessa and Jackie and Crossley whom I haven't seen in forever! We ate pizza at Vanessa's, watched TV, and made smores around a bonfire. (Makin smores is one of my all-time favorite activities!) It was so great. I couldn't hang out with Margaret after though, so I was kind of disappointed.
Saturday I did nothing. I don't think. I can't remember. I probably played basketball outside, practiced the guitar, and read HP5. Oh yea, and David's friend (Konnor) came over then his other friends came over along with their parents who sat and talked with my parents. With all these people over, I simply locked myself up in the computer room and talked on the phone with Margaret for almost two hours. That was a new record for me. It was mostly about guys and purses. Wow, I NEVER used to care about either of those subjects. Uh-oh, I'm being brainwashed!! Actually, I still don't like purses much- just making them. *Phew.*
Yesterday I practiced the guitar and taught David the names of the strings! He is working on Jingle Bells, so then even if I don't get any better at playing, I can at least show something for my efforts by playing simple songs along with David. I also ate quite a bit of McDonalds and saw Dark Water with Phil. The previews made it look sooo good/scary. Previews can be misleading. The movie was almost decent, but I wouldn't recommend seeing it. Basically, it went from good to bad; it wasn't that scary, and the few scary parts there were kept happening over and over (the same way) so it was boring by the end. They also dragged out the ending, making it seem like it was never going to end. Maybe it was just my mood that day, but I eventually just wanted it to be over.
Today I convinced Phil to make a purse with me. (It wasn't out of fabric or anything- more like laminated paper, but still out of scratch.) We also got Wendy's and then watched Dodgeball at my house. I felt sick this whole day with no appetite, a stuffy nose, and a bad headache, but it just kept getting worse. So I finally took Advil, but I didn't realize it was Extra-strength till afterward. So I had taken too many. Whoops. Needless to say, I didn't feel much better. I was going to see Brilliance in a Bun tonight with Phil, but I (semi-reluctantly) told him to go without me. Now I'm going to TRY to eat, even though I don't think I can, and then I'll probably read, watch TV, or practice guitar again. Yesss. Fun night. Wow, as I typed that I actually mumbled it out loud. Not on purpose. I was literally talking to myself. Must be the medicine.
~Random Fact: The king of hearts is the only king without a mustache on a standard playing card.
~Random Thought: While I was shopping for craft supplies with my mom yesterday, I borrowed this lotion of hers that was Norwegian, or something like that. It said that on the bottle, anyway. So I was like "This smells like it's from Norweg- Norway." I almost said it was from Norwegia. Wow. But then we started talking about why it changes like that. Why does Norway go to Norwegian? Not Norwayian or something? Or Norwish? And why in the world does Holland/Netherlands go to Dutch? Oh-so-confusing.
