A really good day
Today, I had a really good day. Dave stayed over last night, and when we got up, we went to Johnny Rockets for lunch. Did you know that they sing and dance there?!?! I wanted to go there because my boss at work had said they had really good rootbeer floats, but Dave had suggested it. We got burgers and poutine (yum!!!) Dave had a cookies and cream milkshake, and I had my rootbeer float. Both were super yummy. I made us stay there until the dancing. It was only about 7 extra minutes, and it was well worth it. I would go back just to watch it.
After that, we went to Sears (Dave had expressed interest in a purple dress shirt and an argyle sweater, neither of which were purchased), I got a dress, but I'm unsure about it. My mate at work thinks its good, and Dave seemed to think it was fine, but I just don't know. We wandered around a bit more, and then he brought me home and I got him to hang out for a bit so he could drive me to work (score! haha)
Work was really good as well! I learned how to make ice cream, and it was super busy. The only bad part was I had to wait about 45 minutes at the end to find out that the 12 people that had walked in 15 minutes before last call for food didn't want dessert. But other then that, good day. I felt really good at the end of it. And I've just done a couple rows of the toque I'm secretly knitting for my chef (he desperately needs a new one.) So well done me! haha
