howdy! *it's been a while*
All right, it's been a while. A lot of things have changed, but if you ever talk to me, you probably know what's going down in my life. That makes this live journal kind of pointless then huh?
I recently got the sasser worm on my comp (I-worm/Sasser.B), and after trying different things, I finally got rid of that little bastard! If you haven't already done this, I recommend you update your virus scanners on your comp. Get Stinger, AVG, and/or Norton and update ALL of them. These new viruses are a pain in the butt. The variety of the Sasser worm that I got was tame. It simply slowed down my computer, but other forms can make your comp. repeatedly re-start, which is pretty damn obnoxious. Fortunately, I was able to get rid of the worm before the school internet service provider (ResNet) noticed the worm and robbed me of my precious internet connection. They do that to prevent me from sharing my wormy gift with the rest of the campus!
Apart from the sasser worm adventure, I just took a midterm in Mdub yesterday. Not only did I not do any of the readings from the course reader, but I also didn't read from the Craig textbook either! I had also lost half of my beautifully thorough class lecture notes from my iBook when I stupidly force-quit my computer five minutes after saving the notes. I guess the lil' mother fucker wasn't done saving the notes yet! >:\ Anywho, I borrowed notes from a pal on the second floor, studied lecture notes all night (which included short summaries of the readings from the reader AND Craig :D), and then I took the midterm. I'm pretty sure I kicked its ass, but I don't want to jinx it... if I haven't already :p.
I think someone upstairs in the boys' suite is ...vacuuming? *insert perplexed face HERE* It's probably our custodian, Soledad. She's the sweetest woman ever.
