this is the only place i feel comfortable asking something as pretentious and borderline narcissistic as this, but i've been thinking about making a myspace music page for my poems and shit. i feel uncomfortable with the actual words out there sometimes, just for copyright purposes, but i do enjoy sharing my work bc i think that a poem isn't entirely a poem until its out loud. at least for me. they aren't the same on paper. especially soundwise. like sometimes people will ask about it and i feel stupid spouting off something so i think having a "here's my myspace" would be beneficial...
i guess what i'm asking is would any of you benefit from having recordings of shit a couple clicks away? it's hard to gauge how people feel about what i write because i don't share that often outside of competition. i know that there are some poems out there that i go and read every now and then for my own personal reasons, and if i can accommodate that for someone, that would make me very happy.
