Work today was long, as I hadn't slept well last night. It was also the first day I opened the store by myself and that might have contributed to the not sleeping. I managed to open the store without setting off the alarm, burning the place down or doing anything stupid. Right now I'm sitting peacefully with my mum's cat and listening to the lovely sound of silence, complete and utter peace. No kids screaming, babies crying, traffic, or seagulls yelling. It's bliss I tell you. One thing they don't tell you about working in a toy store, is the level of kid noise to expect :)
