I got yelled at yesterday for not updating like I used to, so I figured this was a good time to post something. However, people have to realize that I haven't been updating because there's nothing to update about, aside from a select few interesting happenings.
So let's see....over Labor Day weekend I went to Chicago with Megan, and that was pretty exciting. We went to Chinatown and Navy Pier, spent time with my dad and his new girlfriend, and just enjoyed hanging out. The weather was nice, I didn't have too much homework to worry about on my vacation, and overall the weekend was relaxing and very enjoyable. The best part, I think, was the fact that it led to Megan and I planning a trip out west over Christmas Break. :) It's still in the planning stages, but I really think it might happen.
Other than that, I've been crazily busy since school started. Classes really aren't too hectic (yet), but between classes and labs, Psi Chi meetings, other meetings, and catching up with people, my calendar looks pretty full. Not to mention I'm starting research for my honors thesis soon...God help me.
Speaking of Psi Chi, it's my first year running things, and I was pretty nervous about it at first. It turns out, though, that I have great officers who were really receptive to my ideas. So I think Psi Chi might actually start doing things, and just imagine--perhaps next year people will actually know we exist. :) Actually, next Wednesday we're holding a GRE prep session...it doesn't mean much to me since I'm taking the MCAT, but most psych majors/minors take the GRE, so there you go. I'm excited that our first event is taking place already, though. There's hope for Psi Chi yet.
This weekend I think I'm going home...I'm not 100% sure yet, depending on if I need to get things around for the GRE prep session/do lots of homework/get stuff done in general....but I'll probably go home for at least Saturday night. So anyway, that's pretty much it....perhaps I'll start updating just a little more often. I wouldn't advise getting your hopes up, though (TRISTA!!). :)
