the start of my adventures - nicaragua fall 2005 and india spring 2006
hey buddys!!
over the next year i'll be keeping this journal updated with my adventures so that i can keep in touch with each and every one of you. although i'll be gone for a while physically, i want to do my best to keep in touch with those that mean the most to me.
right now it's packing time! my hiking pack is almost filled to the brim with everything from lots of medications...to my raincoat and sleeping bag... and from clothes and towels to homestay gifts and comfort food. tomorrow is my last day in the states for a while - so im going to try and make it a relaxing one. :) then early, early, early friday morn' it's off to the airport for my flight to miami... continuing onto managua. we'll see if this tropical storm/hurricane warning affects things...yay for adventure before the program even begins!

it takes 1-3 weeks for things to arrive, and i'll be leaving that address in very early december.
have the most beautiful, amazing and incredible year, filled with so many new experiences, life lessons, and friends. i'll miss each and every one of you - but knowing that you are all out there somewhere, creating my big friendweb, makes me strong in trying times and always, always, always incredibly thankful.
