The most amazing thing happened. I mentioned before about taking Meagen and her friends to the Bowling for Soup concert, well it is this Monday. I got a wild hair up my ass and wrote them this letter:

"Dear BFS,

I know ya'll must get email like this daily...but I figured what the heck, I would try anyway. No harm in trying...right? Any who, my daughter Meagen turns 11 next week and allllllll she wanted was BFS tickets for her and her 2 friends, so we will be there, at The House of Blues, to welcome ya'll home to north Texas on Monday. I promise she is the biggest 'little' fan you have and is single handedly converting the entire 5th grade in Little Elm to Bowling for Soup fans. She is not sick, or special needs or anything of that nature...she is just a great kid who is getting to see her favorite band for her birthday. Her favorite song is High School Never Ends, and you may even hear her singing it over yourselves. If ya'll could give a shout out to her, you would defiantly make her day even more amazing, and once she woke up from passing out - she would NEVER forget it!

Okay, this got long. I am so sorry. Can't wait for Mondays show!
Tracy"

So yesterday I got this back from them:

"hey there

Body: Its jaret from bfs...
im gonna get you and your daughter passes to meet thr band...
please send me an email to
jaret@bowlingforsoup.org
with your full names...
ill send you back thr info"

Yes, I am not fucking kidding. How cool is that.
I told Meagen last night and one of the girls that is going was over and I swear they screamed for 15 straight minutes. Got to love 10 year old girls!

I am so amazed at how nice they are. I thought there was about a 10% chance they would even acknowledge the email, let alone do to this length.
