hyper focusing....like only i can :-)
i LOVE to over obsess happy positive things and i LOVE to plan. I have 2 big things right now that are consuming my brain so i do not sweat the small shit and the depressing shit!
1) Jordan's birthday party.
so far, 2 days after the invitations have been handed out, 38 of 65 have confirmed they were coming. This party (beach theme) is going to stacked with sand, a dance floor that looks like the ocean, a tiki bar with virgin margarita's, the limbo, over half the 7th grade and 1 very happy 13 year old wearing her hot new bikini top and flowing white skirt!

2) Family vacation.
this year it will be a road trip from Dallas to Chattanooga, TN to Wahsington DC to Ocean city MD to Kingsport TN to Memphis TN and back to Dallas. I get to plan it all. I have a 3 ring binder with tabs for each city and all. Yes, this is OCDish - but I don't care. I am excited for DC, but I am really excited for Ocean City. We are staying at the Hilton Resort and James and I have a hot tub in our room that over looks the ocean. Our family has taken road trips west, south and semi northish...but never east.
Anyrate - if anyone has thoughts opinions or suggestions on either....i would love to hear them!
