finally FINALLY the weather has turned. we've been treated to hot'n'hazy for the better part of a week. be still my louisville training heart. i can't say i LIKE it but it is a necessary part to my overall journey.
things i've learned:
* don't eat sugary cereal prior to doing a hard run interval. that sh*t will barrel up the esophagus faster than some kind of fast thing going much faster than usual
* my 2hour bottle of water no longer lasts 2 hours
* don't closely examine the white sports bra after swimming in the murky lake (ewwww!!)
* sweat in the eyes HURTS!!!
* cut the hair?? don't cut the hair??
* orca 226's rock - NO chafing - thank you thank you orca!
* bike shoes + no socks + hot'n'humid = smell unimaginable
* sugary gels-bars-fluid replacement tastes infinitely unpalatable the hotter it gets
* salt is my friend
training
