Challenges and features and freezing my buns off. Oh My!
It is cold outside.
No. That's not exactly it.
It is FUCKING cold outside. Excuse my language but at HIGHS of -10°C with windchill equalling -20°C?!? That goes beyond polite language.
Suffice it to say, I've had to rearrange my run schedule to accommodate the dipping mercury which pisses me off to NO end because *I'm* the one that suffers. (duh!) It's hard enough to keep my mileage up while also incoporating weights and 2 swims and yoga as well as juggling art and challenges (new one up today btw: http://jenworden.com) and... oh yeah ... my husband, cuz he gets whiny when I just disappear for days on end and my daughter who is all, "Mom. Help me make a snazzy new dress for the Vday dance even though I have NO experience sewing at all and want it to look exactly like the $1000. number I saw on the web." So yeah. P. O. d.
A bright light in my day is being part of a 35 Artist "The Pulse" on Seth Apter's The Altered Page (http://thealteredpage.blogspot.com/). He asked us 7 Questions which he will be posting over 7 days. It's a fun way to see what influences other artists not to mention getting to click on new sites up the yingyang. A perfect solution to the sub-zero temps out there.
