I just came back from drinks with the Celtic Faculty* and my corner of the table, three people in all, had the following languages between us:

Lydian (Lidian? No clue. Something people used to speak in Asia Minor, apparently)
I was kind of impressed by us. Anyway, off to bed with Medieval Poetics; I need to make up for last night's lack of sleep.

*one of my Irish teachers came over and hugged me and talked about how impressed he was with my exam essay in the spring. That made my day! Maybe he will go for a drink with me next time he is in town, so I can fawn on him at length and geek out about Celtic literature.
