Much needed update
I've been so busy with my internship that I haven't had time to update anything! So i'll break this post up into sections :)
Wedding:
I've bought my dress, it's beautiful! I'd post a picture but I want Jonathan to be surprised. It was the first one I tried on and it's absolutly perfect. I've also bought my veil and headpiece and I have shoes. So the dress stuff is done.
I've booked my location. I'm going to have the wedding at the Terrace Hotel in Lakeland. The ceremony is actually going to be outside across the street on an over look of the lake. Then the guests will go into the hotel for a "cocktail hour" while we are taking pictures. We are also going to have a sit down dinner. Yay. Everything I want.
I've also booked my photographer. I met her in person and her personality is fabulous.
I've got a ton of other things to do but right now I have to get through school.
With that said...
School Updates:
I have 24 days until graduation!!! All of my observations have gone well and I'm in the home stretech. The last thing I have to do for my internship is my portfolio. I have about 13 more artifacts to complete and the reflections that go with them. I also have to submit my scores to the internship office.
This week I've been in the classroom pretty much by myself. My teacher is gone on some type of trip and I'm left there to be the ruler of the classroom :). I'm having a lot of fun with the kids doing a unit on plants. I think they are having fun. I just hope they're learning something.
Other Updates:
Jon and I are moving! W00t!!! WE are getting a new apartment in lakeland up closer to the North Lakeland Mall. It's off of exit 33 on I-4. The apartments are all brand new. So we're be the first to live in them. We are getting a one bedroom apartment which has 910 sq ft. We are on the 3rd floor (boo!) but my brother is going to live RIGHT next door. YAY! The complex is gated and the gates will be closed 24/7. They also have a TV room with a pool table, a pool, jacuzzi, INDOOR full basketball court, raquetball court, exercise room (with tredmils that have TVs on top of them). The apartments are 910 sq ft, washer and dryer in unit, garbage disposal, dishwasher, side by side fridge with ice depenser in the door (yay!), pantry (w00t I need one of those), and Walk in closet.
We SHOULD be getting new furniture, but we'll see.
