Title: Opposites Attract [Chapter 10/10]
Main: Super Junior
Genre: Romance, Comedy, AU
Rating: PG-13
General Summary: School is one of the most common places to fall in love in. And also to get your heart broken in.
Chapter Summary: What will happen when Eeteuk finds Kangin?

The sound of breaking glass rang around the room, breaking the silence.
  “Eeteuk?” Kangin was shocked.
He had heard the knock, and thinking it was Heechul, he ignored it. Heechul would come in even if he didn't answer.
It was only now, discovering that Eeteuk was the one who had knocked, that it struck him. If it had been   Heechul, he wouldn't even have knocked. And Heechul would have called him first. Not that Kangin would have answered. He had turned off his phone.
He lowered his head in shame. He knew that no matter how much Eeteuk hated him, he deserved it. Still, there was this spark in him that was burning, hoping that Eeteuk would still give him a chance. After all, he did turn up at his soccer match.
He heard Eeteuk's footsteps slowly getting closer every second, making his way to him.
They stopped, and Kangin could see Eeteuk's shoes, directly opposite his. Not far away was the broken remains of the glass bottle Kangin had dropped accidentally when he saw Eeteuk.
Then he felt a pair of arms embracing him warmly, and Kangin couldn't take it anymore.
The tears that he had forced himself to bury came spilling out.
It triggered off Eeteuk's own tears, which poured out just as quickly as Kangin's.
They cried, not able to say anything.
Not that there was anything that needed to be said. To them, it was already clear.
They loved each other, then and now, and that was all that mattered.

Kyuhyun was on cloud nine. He had talked to Sungmin for a few hours, and at the end of it, managed to get his number.
Sungmin had left now, saying that he needed to go home and that he was sorry.
Kyuhyun sadly watched him go, promising that he'd call him soon.
And he would. But first, he just had to find Eeteuk to tell him the good news.
The problem was, he couldn't find Eeteuk anywhere. He wasn't on the first floor, so maybe he was on the second, Kyuhyun decided.
Soon, he found himself facing the long corridors his best friend faced not too long ago.
Kyuhyun's eyes widened at the sight of the many doors, and wondered, with the utmost dread, if he had to check every single one of them.
Then he spotted a door, more than sightly ajar. Sounds were coming out from the room, though Kyuhyun couldn't make out what it was.
Curious, Kyuhyun walked over to it.
As he got closer, he realized that the sounds were actually people crying.
He reached it, and peered inside.
Kyuhyun didn't know what he had been expecting, but whatever it was, it was definitely not seeing Eeteuk locked in an embraced with the student Kyuhyun recognized as the boy who always hung out with Heechul.
He was fairly sure his name was Kangin or something like that.
They were both crying uncontrollably, and didn't even notice that someone was in the room.
“I think... I should stay out of here for awhile.” Kyuhyun thought, fleeing from the room.

Heechul woke up with a heavy hangover from the night before.
The first thing he realized was that he was on his bed.
And his arms were wrapped around Han Geng.
To his surprise, he didn't scream. He was actually pleased.
The second thing he realized was that, to his relief, they were both fully clothed.
He pulled his arms away, careful not to wake Han Geng, and sat up.
  He was puzzled.
“Why do I care so much about this guy? He's nothing, right? I only hung around with him to mess with him. And I should be disappointed, not relieved, that we didn't have sex.”
But deep down inside, Heechul already knew.
As much as he didn't want to admit it, he knew the truth.
He, Kim Heechul, had fallen hopelessly in love with Han Geng.

“Teukie...” Kangin whispered into the sleeping boy's ear.
It was morning already, and the sunlight poured through the window, lighting up the room.
Kangin was laying on the sofa, Eeteuk laying on his chest.
Eeteuk opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was Kangin smiling gently at him.
The memory of what happened last night filled his mind, and Eeteuk grinned back.
  “Teukie?”
  “Mmm?”
“Does this mean that you forgive me?”
Eeteuk pretended to consider for awhile, before replying flatly. “No,”
“What??” Kangin sat up, causing Eeteuk to roll off him, landing beside him on the bed.
“Just kidding.” Eeteuk gave Kangin a hug. “You are so adorable.”
  Kangin blushed at that statement.
“Come on.” Eeteuk grabbed his hand and stood up, leading him out of the room.

***************************************
Siwon was the first to wake up, among the seven of them.
He shook the others awake. Kibum, a sensitive sleeper, awoke immediately, complaining about his hangover.
Yesung and Ryeowook were next, waking up in each other's embrace. The first thing they did was to, of course, make out.
  Siwon groaned and looked away.
Donghae and Eunhyuk were beside them, also hugging.
Siwon smiled to himself, remembering the past night's happenings.
Apparently, Eunhyuk had confessed to Donghae, for Donghae had, in a voice loud enough for everyone in the house to hear, announced it publicly.
Eunhyuk had dragged Donghae back to where Siwon was sitting, red with embarrassment.
Much to his surprise, many people came to congratulate them, and they were genuinely sincere.
Siwon had congratulated them as well. Kibum was too drunk to say anything.
Yesung and Ryeowook went crazy, telling the new couple all they needed to know, and more.
Next to Donghae and Eunhyuk was Kyuhyun, who had been deep in thought yesterday night.
Siwon stared at the six, and wondered where Eeteuk was.
He didn't have to look further, as Eeteuk appeared, coming down the stairs.
  Following closely behind was Kangin.
“Eeteuk!” Kyuhyun, who had just woken up, cried out.
Eeteuk smiled and hurried over to his friend, bursting with excitement to tell him the good news.

One week later, Heechul found himself sitting with his new group of friends during lunchtime.
He usually only sat with Kangin and Han Geng, but now that Kangin wanted to sit with Eeteuk, everything changed.
Eeteuk wanted to sit with Kyuhyun, who wanted to sit with Sungmin, who wanted to sit with Shindong.
Heechul had thought that it would have ended there, but it didn't. He ended up sitting with all of them,   including Siwon, Kibum, Yesung, Ryeowook, Donghae, Eunhyuk.
It wasn't as bad as he originally thought. Heechul had never noticed them at school before, and didn't really care about them.
But Heechul soon took a liking to them, and he soon blended in.
He hadn't confessed to Han Geng, but it didn't matter. He could tell that Han Geng loved him too, and left it at that. They had already confessed to each other silently. There was no need for words.

“Stop it!” Eeteuk pushed him away when Kangin tried to kiss him.
  Kangin pouted.
“I don't care how cute you are. This is detention, and you're not allowed to do that.” Eeteuk said firmly.
Kangin sighed and went back to his seat. The detention room was empty, besides them.
He realized that he was spending more time with Eeteuk everyday.
Heechul was more than happy to be alone with Han Geng, and according to Eeteuk, Kyuhyun had been meeting Sungmin regularly.
Kangin loved Eeteuk with all his heart. He told Eeteuk everything, including the secret he had been keeping for a few years...

“Can I tell you something?”
They were both laying in Eeteuk's bedroom, on his bed, after some rough and passionate sex.
  “Go on.”
“Remember the night when we first did... this?”
Eeteuk nodded, wondering where this was going to lead to.
“Well... I..” Kangin swallowed nervously. “I wasn't drunk.”

Kangin laughed to himself now, thinking back. Eeteuk had been shocked, then mad, then hurt, and finally, happy.
Eeteuk forgave him, and said that at least his actions weren't under the influence of alcohol.
He was still daydreaming about Eeteuk when someone kissed him on the lips.
  It was Eeteuk.
“I thought you said...” Kangin trailed off as Eeteuk sat on his lap.
He placed another kiss on Kangin's lips and motioned to the clock.
  “Detention's over.”

~ End ~
Sorry for the totally fail ending ><
