new toy!
I have a new toy!
My brand new shiny clean Asus eee PC 1000 (linux, of course) came in the mail this morning. I love it! It's tiny and fun and weighs almost exactly what Zinc does. The keyboard is a little small, but actually easier to use than my desktop keyboard (which I hate because the keys are weird). I have issues with the track pad, but that's not news - I generally view those as wild horses. Need to work on that some. But overall, wonderful. I'm gonna be so much more productive at work, and so much happier on plane rides.
Now, on to more important news. I realize this is a little late, but work was hectic today so sorry. But. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE! Your present is in the mail. I do hope you like it.
