Why thank you. XD I like to think I dress my minis just as well? lols. Just takes being picky and collecting bits over time, really. What he's wearing here came from 5 different places and was accumulated over the course of about... 3-4 years, from oldest to newest piece? But the background thing - that gets so much easier the bigger they get! OMG! My biggest trouble with him is that I have to back up so much to fit him all in the frame. ^^; As for the little one... :)

I will admit though... that my elbow, ass, and hip are very sore right now... How have I been? That's... a complicated question." Pausing, head tilting to the side a bit, "I've been... a lot of things, lately. But mostly, lately... some combination of paranoid, blissful, terrified, and feeling like shit." Shrugging, waving a hand back and forth in a 'some of this, some of that' movement, "It goes through like... a cycle. Things are a bit shook-up lately. How 'bout you? Anything new?"
Well, yeah, you do, but I guess I mean there's a better selection out there for the big guys :P Holy crap, speaking of collecting things over a long time, we've started going to local meetups (and thank god for the Long Island group, it's way better than the Manhattan meetups) and at the last one everybody was talking about when they got their first doll... Most of them were within the last two years. And then it got around to me and I said "Um... 2005, so that'd be seven years ago." and realized that I'm an adult.

His face falls slightly, a familiar worry creasing his brow, and he nods. "I... Well, I heard about what happened. Zach lives near there and he told Rom, who warned me just in case Ty went on some crazy rage-fueled bender." He glances down at his shoe, then shrugs and looks back up. "But besides watching my back, I've been pretty good. Picked up a second major. Anthropology, now, as well as Biochem. It's a lot of work, but I like to keep busy. Spring break's coming up--and I'll actually be down in your neck of the woods for most of it." He smiles again, running a hand back through his hair. "Staying with a friend from school to see the city and get a tattoo."
lol. It's a horrible moment, isn't it? Realizing you're an adult... I recently had one of those while starting to RP with someone as they (ever so subtley) checked my age before proceeding. They were like 'ya, I'm 21, you?' and I was like 'ya, uh... I'm 28, so no worries' and my inner brain was going like 'fuck, you're twenty-fucking-eight years old - you're ancient!!!' >< It's so sad t'me... I don't feel old... until I start comparin' myself to other people, generally. >>;
His face falls a bit as Al says he knows, an embarrased red tinge to the curls of his ears as he shoves his hands in his pockets and worries his lip before forcing a smile with a shake of his head, "Hey... it's probably not as serious as y'heard, anyway. An' what's done is done... we jus' couldn't work it out, y'know. Too much..." searching for a word and finding them all inadequate, he settles on one with a chuckle and sigh, "History. I don't think... I mean I didn't... that he would go after you." Though it's clear from his correction that it's sort of worrying him now, "Haven' talked t'you in forever, after all..." a small curl of a smile inching up again, "So that's what it takes t'get a lil' conversation, eh? But ya... I'm pretty sure he hacked my phone... so he'd know... that we haven't, I mean... talked. I'm pretty sure he's more upset with me than anybody else. An' maybe the guy I'm with now, of course..." muttering with a shuffle of worried fingers through his hair. "Ye'd like 'im, maybe... he's an artist." Smile picking up a bit more, rumbly voice warming, "Swiss, grew up in France... s'got a super cute accent." Shrugging with another chuckle, eyes sparkling a bit as he admits, "Maybe no' as cute as yours. But lovely." Head tilting a bit at news of the second major, smiling in earnest by now, "Y'always did take on so much all at once. Physical anthropology? Ni's finishin' up her social anthro courses this year - thinkin' o' finishing up abroad for her last year." One eyebrow lowering as Al mentions coming to the city, "You're gonna be in New York? An' you're not stayin' with me?" teasing gently, "I'm hurt. Maybe... I dunno, maybe... ye come over for coffee or somethin'? Tea even? I got a new place - movin' in on the weekend. Y'could give it yer stamp of approval."
