Guess who's got new Dikadoll hands?

Heh heh... ya, he's not back quite yet. ^^
In preparation for Alex's new head (and the hopeful return of his old one all put back together *fingers crossed!!* ><), I traded for/purchased a new BW SD13 body from DoA about a month ago. He is in great condition - except that he came with a broken finger (some of you may remember the post I did introducing him and comparing his fresher colour to Alex's old body a while back).
I did superglue the finger back on and honestly the hairline crack is barely noticeable. One ring on that finger and it will be impossible to tell he's been damaged, but... I thought the break itself was as good an excuse as I was likely to get to try out some jointed fingers. >3 And you all know the dollie I spoil most anyway, right? ^^ So basically I bought him some Dikadoll white SD13 boy hands and thought I would share with you all.
I took these pictures last Sunday on my way to a Post-Halloween meet (hey, if you can't bring a headless doll to a meet, where can you, right?) and I'm just getting round to posting tonight but... that's my life. C'est la vie.
Basically, I like them. :) They do not match Volks white, though!! D: So anyone thinking they want them, keep that in mind if you own Volks. O_o The Dikadoll white is a much 'pinker' white, while the Volks white is more yellow. I put the boy in long white sleeves and honestly I don't notice so much if I keep them pulled down so the actual line where the resin meets can't be seen - but when the arm is visible, I can clearly see the difference. Dikadoll SD13 boy hands are also smaller than Volks SD13 boy hands - in both overall hand size and ball-joint size, so they fit in the ball-joint imperfectly, but really not too bad, imo - I got used to the size pretty quick. The sculpt is very delicate, with slender fingers and decent detailing in the palm and for the knuckles, though not as much as I would have liked to see. The nails are nice, tho. They have great mobility and move well and overall I haven't put the default hands back on so I must like them, eh? I find I play with them constantly. XD They're very expressive. :3
Oh, and I got 'Lexi a new outfit for his pending return. Yus, he's on his way back! :D
I spoil him so...
Although... I haven't decided if I want Victor or Alex to have these hands, yet. They might go to Victor... >> Anyhoo. Time to decide that later. ^^;
