Shopping Sprees and Five o'clock Fire Alarms....
So my 19th birthday is this monday march 1st. My mom calls me today in tears saying she can't afford to buy me anything for my birthday. (My step dads in hawaii helping arrange an uncle's funeral and theres even more drama to that, it turns out his new wife was starving him)So, an unexpected urgent trip to hawaii can be pretty pricey. So, that in addition to my college tuition equals no money left over. Let's put it this way, my mom ate bologny sandwiches for every meal the entire time since my step dads been gone. =( I kinda want to send my mom a portion of my paycheck to help out. But i know she would never accept it. I'll try to find some way of helping her out. I love my mom.
So, at around 430 this morning some stupid idiot in my dorm drunkenly decides to "accidently" pull the fire alarm. Now, if you have ever lived in a USF dorm, you'd know how horrible they are form hearing them during the day for a fire drill. Can you imagine the piercing pulsing pain i woke up to at 430 in the morning? I was not a happy camper. So we all ended up outside in the cold waiting for an hour so someone could turn the alarm off and we could all go to bed. blah!
So Stefanie's parents (umina31) were up here in SF so they took us to the Gilroy outlets to go shopping and i spent so much money on myself! i figure i need clothes and it'll be a birthday gift to myslef! yay! so even though it started out as a rough day it ended quite nicely. Thank you God for this wonderful day!
