Age: thirty*cough*
Gender: female
Pick three words to describe yourself: Short, forgetful, curious.
What do you often think about? I'd love to say it was something deep and meaningful but it's generally not. Usually stuff that impacts me directly right now. Also sleep - how many hours I need, when to go to bed, that sort of thing. I work 24/7 shiftwork so sleep is SRS BZNS.
What are some of your favorite songs? Pretty much anything by Depeche Mode. Lately I'm listening to a lot of electronic, instrumental, trancey stuff like Solar Fields.
Hobbies: Gaming - I play and DM various tabletop RPGs, as well as playing lots of video games. I read a fair bit too - preferably fantasy with a side order of SF and horror.
Positive traits: Loyal, good listener. I tend to be the one everyone goes to with relationship issues and even offer advice on it.
Negative traits: Lazy, indecisive, procrastinating, supershy.
Likes: Raisin toast. Sleeping. Hugs. Cats. Travel. Good wine.
Dislikes: Rudeness. Aggression. Stupidity. Bad body odour.
Favorite animal: Tiger.
What type of people are you generally attracted to? Dreamers with expression. People who are intelligent and articulate. Who are nice, but have an edge. Someone with some sort of creative ability, and is not afraid to open up emotionally. PDA's are good. Someone who can look after themselves and isn't afraid to be on their own. I detest talking for talking's sake. Generally I prefer taller to shorter, brunettes to blondes, presentable as opposed to gorgeous.
Whats your ultimate goal? I want to go to space. Or Antarctica. Antarctica is closer though.
Whats your biggest fear? To be alone the rest of my life.
Are you a risk taker? In the little things, no. I prefer to be safe. In big, huge, life changing things, I'm risking like a big risk taking risky thing. Interesting dichotomy, really.
How do you take losing? I'm not competitive as a general rule but that doesn't mean I like to come last. I'm usually a good loser though.
Do you have any role model(s)? If so who? & why? Not really - I've never really been the sort to model myself on other people.
Favorite quote(s) (doesn't have to be from ME): Mark Twain: Always tell the truth. That way, you don't have to remember what you said.
William Goldman, The Princess Bride: ... Life is pain, anyone who says differently is selling something.
Are you usually optimistic or pessimistic? Depends on what point in my life I'm at. Right now, fairly optimistic.
Do usually think about the result of a long run or a short run? Medium to long term with occasional splashes of instant gratification.
Loner or teammate? Loner. Mostly because I'm too shy to relate to other people.
Playful or serious? Serious unless I know you.
Logic or intuition? Intuition generally works first with me.
Feared or loved? Loved. The thing with being feared is that you have to always keep up the pressure. That's far too much hard work, and plus it's not really very nice. I'd prefer it if everyone loved me :P
Listen or speak? Listen. Speaking involves that whole talking in front of people thing. Plus I have a voice that makes me sound like a little girl.
Forgiving or vengeful? Forgiving on the outside, passively vengeful on the inside. I'll dream about gruesome ways to get even, but never do them.
Describe your...
Aggression (submissive, competitive, ect.): I'm definitely passive-aggressive, probably bordering on submissive. If I get disagreed with, I tend to roll over and let it slide - externally. Internally I'll be whinging and being all "why me?". Rarely will I stick up for myself.
Dependability: So long as I remember, I'm very dependable. My memory is not the best, however...
Sociability (talkative, shy, talk when you need to, ect.): Yeah, nuh. I hate meeting new people. Going to parties is horrible. It's impossible for me to make new friends IRL and only slightly less difficult online.
Maturity: Well I'm in my 4th decade so I'm hoping I'm reasonably mature!
Physical appearance (you can put a picture but its optional): Female, short, pudgy, stubby fingers, wears glasses, short dark brown hair. Usually looks tired. Wears a collection of t-shirts with interesting slogans on them.
What color armor does your Shepard typically/would wear? Depends on the Shepard, I have designed them all individual armours to suit their looks and personalities. I have one red, one camo, one white, etc. My personal favourite is black with a purple trim.
What weapon do you use the most? Phalanx pistol. (My favourite weapon though is the Widow. Dear diety I love that gun!)
Increased weapon damage or health? Health.
Weapons, biotic, or tech? Biotics fascinate me. It'd be like being a sci-fi wizard. Who then gets to eat whatever they want and not worry about it. Win/Win!
Paragon or renegade? Paragade.
Follower or leader? Follower.
Soldier,Mercenary, or freelancer? Freelancer. I like the freedom of being able to do what/when you want, without the strictures of military life.
How do you feel about the council? They annoy the absolute crap out of me. No way can beings that have been around for that long not recognise a threat when it happens. And continuing to deny it is just plain delusional.
How do you feel about Cerberus? The phrase "any means to an end" springs to mind. This is not necessarily a good thing. Also, why the need to uphold humanity at any cost? We're not THAT special.
If you could be any race in the Mass effect universe what would it be? Why? Asari. Because of their long lifespan and natural biotic abilities. Imagine the ability to do almost anything, and then change that to something else because you'd done all you wanted in it. In effect, asari get 3 lifetimes. So many opportunities.
If you could live anywhere in the ME universe where would you live? The Citadel. Everything happens there. Plus, you can get from there to anywhere else quite easily.
Who's your favorite ME character? Why? Kaidan Alenko. Quite apart from the fangirly aspect (which I could go on about all day but won't for the sake of everyone's sanity, you can thank me later), I find him to be a compelling, interesting character. He has a wealth of experience, not all of it good, and has come out a rounded, balanced individual. He's dedicated but not blind, is caring and compassionate, and he has the courage of his convictions.
Who's your most hated ME character? Why? Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani. I get that she's a reporter and needs to get her story in. I really do. I hate the way she goes about it however, and the smarmy, self righteous airs she has. I also hate that no matter which way you go with her, she still gets her dig in. It's like she's compensating for something or trying to make herself look big at the expense of others.
Anything else you would like to add? Hmmm... nah I'm good!
Would you like your name to be put on the banner? Sure!
