I love my life! Yeah, Yeah, I know, I've spent the last I don't know how long belly aching about stuff!
I looked around me this morning and realized that all of the people I actually LOVE the most are either living in my house or within walking distance. And the ones that fall into the next level of closeness are a quick car ride away.
My house is crammed full of people and their stuff and I am loving it! We are building a room in the basement so that they can stay longer and are actually getting stuff that has been sitting around forever done, because there are people here to work with, instead of me trying to do it alone. when one of us isn't motivated it's almost guaranteed that someone else is - it's amzing!
I go to work and come home to find gardening done, or the kitchen spotless and dinner bubbling on the stove. My son has become "the Muffin Man" and spends hours out of his room interacting and teaching these great kids how to bake and all kinds of other nifty things.
Rodney comes out and interacts with us more than ever before and when he is needing time for himself Mellissa and Jake are inevitibly there to say 'hey, lets watch a movie together" or "come downstairs and help hold these boards".
I hope that Mama is as comfortable with the houseful as I am becasue it's going to be hard if she isn't. i don't know that I really want to go backto just the four of us bouncing off of what the other three aren't contributing :-(
And everything is getting done without conflict or high stress. Done well and consisitently!
WEll, off to the shower and then work for me - if it's a short day hopefully Mellissa and I can work on Celly's wedding clothes some more - maybe we can call Lorna too!
