take them out to dinner? so we can either sit there in silence or have a conversation we've already had with hundreds of peolpe before? sorry if i dont like "getting to know people" in its most typical form. sure i like to talk about shit, but not trivial shit. am i supposed to come up with quirky topics of discussion? like whats your favorite candybar? is that a conversation you want to have? or how about your favorite disney film...or maybe favorite song to sing while you drive or shower. NOW THATS GETTING TO KNOW SOMEONE...
i feel like all that shit is dumb. its like deciding if you like someone based on their facebook...which is why MAYBE the facebook is a GOOD thing. can you imagine goin on a date with someone and talking about the regular shit (im talking about going on a date with someone you know nothing about). I could ask, "where are you from?" and she would reply, "oh just check my facebook, itll answer all your waste of breath questions"

when someone asks you what you like to do (which is a typical BULLSHIT question, one of the lamest ones at that) do you answer "I LIKE TO TALK TO PEOPLE ABOUT WHERE IM FROM AND MY CAREER AND WHO IM GOING TO VOTE FOR". I would say no. i do not like to do that.

on a lighter note, i went to aran islands this weekend with the dublin crew and it was fun as hell. the islands are off the west coast on ireland, and they are gorgeous. i would have pictures, but my digicam broke and i had no 35mm film with me. because i am a noob. im gonna cop some pics from others, tho, so ill post them here later.
