I'm bored, so I thought I'd list these to keep myself busy. (Other boredom busters? Counting the $18.00 in spare change I've collected over the past eight months.)
1. Jed Whedon's "History of Forgotten Things" album is out today. I can't quite afford it at the moment, but I'm due some money soon. I don't want to torrent it, because I like Jed, but I haven't ruled it out yet.
2. Will probably see some birthday money from various family members in about two or three weeks. I will use this to pay off my overdue student loan bills.
3. Should see an amended tax refund anytime from now til...pretty much whenever they decide to fork it over. I will use a large chunk of this money to get some much-needed dental work done. (Had a tooth yanked last week, but there are still at least two cavities to fill, maybe more. I have a terrible weekness for sugar-y substances.) Some of the rest will go toward numbers 1 and 5 from this list.
4. New television season. "How I Met Your Mother" is the only show I'm actively keeping track of and I'll be glad for new episodes. (3 out of the 4 stills in my icon are relevant.)
5. September 20th - the release of the Doctor Who Specials Soundtrack. Once again, not above torrenting, but if I can get the money together, I'll gladly support Mr. Murray Gold. (Still hoping for a soundtrack for "Veronika Decides to Die" and his piano track from that. Also eagerly looking forward to whenever they release the Doctor Who S5 soundtrack. And, on a further tangent, Michael Giacchino's LOST S6 soundtrack is also eagerly anticipated...though that's now completely unrelated to Murray Gold.)
6. October 12th - Dollhouse season 2 comes out on DVD. This is one that I am definitely paying for as I've already pre-ordered it on Amazon. (Though I will torrent the fuck out of the Blu-Ray for Tim Minear's commentary track.) (The other 1 out of the 4 stills in my icon is now relevant as well.)
7. October 15th - Nightwish goes into the studio to start recording their next album! I've been following their
Summer Camp Diary and I'm very excited.
8. November - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1/2). (I've forgotten the exact date.) Hopefully, with two movies, they can do a bit more justice to the seventh book than they've done to the others.
9. Um...what else should I look forward to? Maybe Christmas. More money from family and some new Doctor Who as well.
10. I don't have a whole lot to look forward to...
