THE WEEKEND

Well, friday jack was at my house ( jack is not the most interesting fella) My bro and I watched hoodwinked- funny movie, i would recommend it for all ages. Saturday i studied excruitingly for university which, im sure all that read this can relate to, especially waking up at 10am. Sometimes i really wonder how i do it. It was not all fun and games, work was in the afternoon and before i knew it, it was christmas in july slash a housewarming party where me amiga vazza was at with her sis and some cool, cool peeps.

The night however demanded a change of scene from the purple lights and santa hats to a party of a different manner; where one may encounter a monkey and ofcouse a penguin, climb up to a deck to lookout for Capt'n Jack Sparrow and Louis Vuitton and entail a wonderfully devised plan by vazza and I that the back of my car would be a fine place to sleep on a winters night in Perth.

*I can report back that it was indeed fine, given the kind donation of a sleeping bag from oza-marley and the survival techniques learnt spending time on cold moutains, vazza and i pulled through the night, or was it morning, in tip top shape, infact, in many shapes and forms.

A wake up call from the kookaburras reminded us of the great land we live in, as the australian flag flew high on the boxers of ozza who greeted us in the goldeb light. After an educational morning conversation, vazza and I departed, weary eyed but spirited.

On the drive home reflections of the city to surf reasonated in my mind and my thoughts turned to our training regime. Our strong commitment to the 12km we will tackle on August 27th has me in positive spirits- Gonzalez and Brown represent.

Following an adventure to Whiteman park we decided to attend our weekly soccer match on Sunday afternoon. We had a win, however i believe the referee was a little pushy, but i do recognise that i may have a bias point of view. As expected, the entertainment was of a high quality on the journey home, no butts about it.
