Winter and movies with Alan Rickman

Some people are extremely happy because they're staying somewhere where it's warm;) , and some have to endure cold weather and first snow, damn it!

Fortunately I have many things to do indoors: T. managed to bring some movies with Alan Rickman. I've watched "Galaxy Guest", "Sense and Sensibility", "Something That Lord Made", "Blow Dry", "Dogma", " ( Read more... )

References? In the scene with the Moaning Myrtle *pukes* It was such a cheap trick and it wasn't even funny. Actually I'm not the one who thinks this way; if you went to a forum, you'll read that many of fans bash this scene.

When I went to the cinema for the first time (it was Friday, the first day of the premiere), I was disappointed. Then I went to the cinema again on Sunday (yes, I'm that obsessed :D) and it was slightly better. Then I got an unofficial DVD so I've ewatched the movie 4 times already.

Krum was great indeed. My favourite scenes were of course all scenes with Snape, the Durmstrang students entering Hogwarts for the first time, the Quidditch World Cup (the scene in the stadium was too short :*-( ), the task underwater (it was great music here) and the dragon on the roof. I loved how they portrayed teenage problems. I was disappointed by Voldemort/Fiennes, because he looked like Fiennes, not Voldemort and he was too short, without red eyes. Wormtail was too happy when he cut his hand off, like in a computer game.

All in all, it was a great movie, but disappointing in many solutions, not to mention that such a huge mistake when Wormtail says "Voldemort" to Voldemort is simply stupid. LV should have used Avada Kedavra on him! (the Death Eaters call Voldemort the Dark Lord and are afraid to speak his name aloud).

What are your favourite scenes?

Oh yes, the Myrtle scene in the bathroom was quite stupid... might be funny for small kids though...
My fav scenes? Its hard to say coz Ive only seen it one time and this is 2 weeks ago...hmmm... all I can say is that I like all scenes with Krum ;D!! Oh, and when Hermione comes down the stairs in her ballgown... awwwww! But they could have shown more explicitely Rons and Harrys amazement about Krum taking her to the ball! The world cup was great too and the fight against the dragon.
Funnily enough the thing I remember most about this visit to the cinema is an advertise for the forthcoming movie "Memoirs of a geisha". I just started reading the book (by Arthur Golden, do you know it?). But this ad was amazing! I have to see this movie!!! :-O

I don't know this Geisha book :)

I've watched HP 4 times so far. There was too little of Snape! I didn't like Fiennes as Voldemort for the first time but I can stand it now. he's very scary when he touches Harry's scar.

There's a great thread about Snape who could be in love with Lily, I can give you a link if you want.

Oh yes you can give it to me. But I still have to read your fanfiction to the end. Have you finished it yet??
