I'm finishing up my first semester of grad school while anxiously awaiting the holiday break! This semester has flown by faster than others.. why is that? Every weekend I've been working, advising, catching up on homework, etc. I guess when there's no time to breathe everything speeds up.
8 working days left! Looking forward to heading home for the holidays to see family and catch up with old friends. It's always nice to have a break, especially when there's a cruise involved! I'll be heading to Miami on Jan. 2nd for a 5 day cruise to Jamaica and Haiti. Should be interesting since it's my first 'family' trip with the Roosen family. Can't believe I'll actually get to see Phil for a whole week as opposed to a couple hours each day (if I'm lucky).
I return to work on Jan. 11 which is the same day spring semester starts for grad school. At least I'm jumping back into everything full force? The students (Albion ones..) don't come back till the following Tues. That gives me time to get settled before my advisor responsibilities resume.
