Harry Potter
I saw the latest Harry Potter movie this weekend. It was what I expected. I'm really looking forward now to the last book. The movie reminded me of how unfinished the last two stories have been. It seems the only reason the books ended where they did is because the school year ended.
One thing I didn't like about the movie was that Harry had short hair, and I think I remember in the early books that there was a reason for him having longer messy hair, but maybe I'm just confusing that with Hermione (who I've always thought had far too pretty hair in the movies). Anyway, I think he would have looked younger with longer hair.
I almost wish they had changed the actors either every movie or every couple of movies. My reasoning is that now Harry Potter has just one face, and that is of Daniel Radcliffe. One of the advantages of a book is that you can put any face to a character. I think changing the actors would have made your own image of the characters just as real as those in the movies. That's just my opinion though, I'm interested in what others think about it.
