for those that may be interested, national geographic is having a warehouse sale at the dc armory this weekend. i went today. they have tons of really nice books, really cheap. and they have some documentaries and random national geographic paraphenalia. i went there thinking i could find some christmas presents for my family, but i didn't find anything that they'd really like. none of them really read that much.
but i found a ton of shit i liked. i got a little less than $250 worth of books for 45 bucks. the flier i got in the mail about it said to bring your own bag to conserve waste, so i found this fairly sturdy paper bag from some department store that was under my bed and took that. it was so stuffed with books that it actually exploded and my books went flying everywhere. so, after that, i got a shopping cart.
