029. Waterfall

Water cascaded down the rock cliff, spiraling until it met with its source below. The pounding of the droplets drowned out the other noses, aside from the persistent thud. A thick fog was settled over the waterfall, its ends tickled down into the pool below, covering it. A pair of bodies were intertwined in the pool, two men floating in the shallow waters. Hands joined, along with mouths occasionally, making their two flushed bodies seem like one. One man leaned into the other, speaking softly in his ear, his low tones tickling the other.

“Isn’t this better than jumping off the fall?” A shrug was his answer; a long moment passing before another word was uttered.

“I think that’s pretty debatable. I sort of like jumping off cliffs.” His lover rolled his eyes and dunked the other under, laughter rising about the steady thump of the waterfall.
