Brookie gave me these interests to explain:
artemis fowl - If you read the books, you wouldn't have to ask. Artemis Fowl is a boy genius/criminal mastermind who stumbles (logically) over the fae world and conceives the idea of robbing the fairy gold by kidnapping an officer and holding her ransom. Hilarity ensues. Notable characters are Holly Black, the kidnapped fairy (LEP-Recon officer), Butler the bodyguard, and his sister, bodyguard in training, Foaly, the centaur who handles all the equipment, technology and monitoring for LEP-Recon, and the tougher than nails Commander Root - the man who WILL NOT BE BLACKMAILED by the mudmen. And of course Mulch, the dwarf who unhinges his but flap and eats his way through the underground. Just don't get too close behind him because what goes in, does come out.

simon maccorkindale - I have this thing for the smarmy, smooth guys like Gary Cole and Simon MacCorkindale. His characters in Poltergeist: The Legacy, and Relic Hunter were very slyly sexy and evil.

trg pro - last Palm device I really liked. I'm using a TX now, but I don't love it as much as my old TRG Pro which doesn't work anymore.

eboai - Some groups are organized and others have organization thrust upon them. All I wanted to do was help people. It's just not as easy as you think to help people. Some people can't be helped. And so without ever intending to, I found myself lumped in with the cynical minority. And then it seemed reasonable to embrace that cynical part of me.

mi-5 - American title of the British Spooks Hoppie loves this show. I just like Matthew Macfadyen.
Jenny Paquette - A country singer we heard years ago. She's got a great voice and style, and is from Maine, which is a strange place to be from if you're a country singer.

scary go round - AWESOME internet comic strip by the talented and amusing John Allison. Check it out at http://www.scarygoround.com

If you want to explain your own interests, post a comment to this post and I will review your interest and pick 7 for you to expound on.

From elusiveat
"Take no more than 15 minutes to produce a list of 15 books that have influenced you in style, ideas, relationships, language, or other ways that you find important, and/or books that have really stayed with you -- you keep thinking of that quote, you are always remembering that character, you are frequently reminded of that moment.... that kind of thing. This is not a favorites list."

1. Jonathan Livingston Seagull - by Richard Bach
2. The Stone and the Flute - by Hans Bemann
3. Alice in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll
4. Curse of Chalion - Lois McMaster Bujold
5. The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera
6. The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand
7. Likute Amarim (Tanya) - Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi
8. Book of Changes (I-Ching)
9. For Love of the Game - Michael Shaara

That's all I could think of easily and since the rules are not to spend more than 15 minutes on it, I guess I'm done.

quiz, books
