The Rapture! It's Here!
So, if you really want to mess with the heads of some of the doomsday people who think the rapture is coming this Saturday, I've heard jsut today about 2 really cool pranks to try out.
One is to get several outfits of clothes - socks and shoes and everything, and leave them lying around the sidewalks and streets, as if the person wearing them just got called to heaven and disappeared.
Another (this one from the geniuses at ImprovEverywhere), is to get a bunch of blow-up dolls and fill them with Helium. Let them go on Saturday, and watch all the Xtians get severely paranoid that they're being left behind while other ascend to their heavenly reward.
Gotta love it!
In other completely unrelated news, here's your Dan Savage QOTW: "You really can't unscrew the pooch." I don't know why, but that really made me grin this morning.
