Well, I haven't updated recently--mostly because of lack of computing equipment. I think the last time I updated was before my birthday, so that was fun.
My job didn't start until last week so I've been hanging around the home and other places for about a month, it has been boring. What has been interesting is the fact that I am rehearsing for Romeo and Juliet, and I can tell you, playing a woman is a challenge, but a challenge is what I enjoy the most. This is the first show I've performed in since Midsummer so it's been a little while since I've been on stage, but it is also the first show since my theatre breakthrough--I understand now, is all.
Anyway, the part is fun, the cast is great and Atlantis Playmakers is a great theatre company with which to be invovlved. I found out that one of my old directors (Patti Hughes) performed in the SAS Playfest; another production Atlantis Playmakers produced this past week. Also, Mr. Mike Towers will be performing in Fool for Love with the same company in July, so all of those who have never seen Mr. Towers perform before come see it!
I shouldn't forget to remind all that Romeo and Juliet will be Saturday and Sundays beginning in July through August 15th at 8:00pm with the Atlantis Playmakers, it will be performed under the stars, and once again I will be one of Shakespeare's fools playing the part of the Nurse (in a dress).
Good times ahead, let me know if you want to see the show, I can get discounted tickets if I preorder!
