If you're gonna write a death fic, this is the way to do it. Gunter's love is so complete and so powerful, that it's fitting it conclude this way, his love undimmed even as he lets go. I find this story, brief though it is, to be powerful and affecting, and I'm glad I read it.

One tiny correction: in this sentence but the purity of his soul far elapsed any of his physical attributes the word you want is "eclipsed," not "elapsed."
