The parents of another bride showed up to our wedding location, all gussied, and glared at everyone fussing in preparation. Then, the dad started ripping the garland off the stair banister and stopped only when Clair approached and asked him what was going on. Meanwhile, the mother wandered away and came back to Clair and this man fighting over whether or not he should leave the garland on the banister, because it was not what his daughter had ordered and why is it there and hoopla and hullabaloo. "What day is it," the mother hissed at the enraged father. Clair responded, "It's Saturday, July 15th." Mom then choked venomously, "Our daughter's wedding is TOMORROW!"
