Business is expensive.

So we just got back from the first day of the trade show. Damn there are some amazing technologies out there that I didn't even know existed. I think Prax and I almost jumped the rep for the 15' printer. Seriously we have added a few items to our wish list for business over the next three years.
Since I now have someone who supports me in my game company I am really trying to make a go of it. We are planning to do several game faires and trade shows next year and I have a few games up for review at walmart.. This means that I need a more efficient method of producing game parts.
We looked at about two dozen machines that all do the same thing, basically. We decided on a model that runs about $10k. Yeah you read that right. Fortunately being a solid and respected business owner goes a long way at trade shows and it looks like we will be able to finance it without a problem (go buy something from us now please). Then there are the things that we have to buy at the show to get good prices. Several display mechandisers for when we work cons and trade shows were at the top of our list and only rang in at $600 (that's only 1200 window clings we need to sell). There is a big format printer that we are looking at for after we pay off the other large item.
Oh, and the web server, yeah we are still $240 away from that also (buy a game or six please) but we will have that by next week either way. It's become a must get item.

So yeah there you have it, we need $600 by Saturday and then $10k for the big box item; anyone looking to invest in a homegrown business with 18 years of history?
