xmas & new years
Well my mother passed away 3 weeks before xmas, so that put a sucky ass mood on everything. I can't believe the way the funeral homes utterly rip you off ($1300 for just a cremation). That's were the xmas money went to this year.
I did have a relatively good holiday, my bro is living us for a while, and we made a nice basted ham and had a nice dinner. Ash never showed up (I still have her gifts so the holiday isn't over yet). The kids were satisfied with their gifts.
Saturday we went to my Dad's with the whole damn family (Ash didn't show again and he has her gifts as well). Another good night, the kids had a blast and got a few new gifts. Prax and I got some more dragons for the shelf and a game or two.
New Year's Eve, Prax, bro and I all played the "A Day at the Faire" game and both were very excited to play the game again right away. It does have a very good play mechanic, if I do say so myself, I am very proud of this game.
Then we took the kids to one of my ex's and we went and got my xmas present. Guitar Hero 2 with two controllers, damn I love that game. All of my time has been spent playing WoW the Burning Crusade and tearing some meant rifts on the guitar.
For the record and all of you real guitar players out there, I have a huge amount of respect for you all, if a game is this hard the real thing has to be insane...
Since Prax had to work today we decided that our hedonism tradition took place last night. We had Chinatown Cafe deliver (THE best chinese food in B'more) and enjoyed beer, firewater and chillaxed.
Well that's all for now, oh yeah, I'm planing on maybe a private WoW server and I will have a huge blog post about my opinion of the Burning Crusade Beta before it wraps up on the 15th.
