Wonderful long weekend
I had a great weekend. It was so relaxing that I am still tired from it.
Friday- Trey and I headed out to the northshore to go hang out with Hope and Robert and Robert's family. We went and ate at the Loop. (Joe and Dana had reccomended this place time and time again) We got the Spicy BBQ chicken pizza....yummmmm. We had a nice dinner with Kelly, Dustin, Bubban and hope and Mrs. Paula and Mr. Bobby. We watched a movie at Robert's and then headed to Chalmette for the night.
Saturday - We woke up bright and early since we had to haul the bobcat thingy out to MS with us. But it was like we couldn't get out of bed. We just laid there talking and goofing off. We finally got up after 2 hours of being silly. We went to MS and Trey and his dad dug the new drive way while the "girls" and the kids went shopping. We came back and made lunch. Trey and I played with the kids for hours. We wound up going meet Alisha and Jason and Mrs. Terri and Mr. Tony for dinner at the Salem house which was really good. We were originally supposed to go bowling but Trey had a cyst in his ear and I had horroffic cramps so we wound up staying in MS. We put on the direct Tv movie channels and fell asleep.
Sunday - We hung out with the family. Conner and I played with his really cute train set and watched the Wiggles. Olivia and I snuggled. It was a fun day with the Family. Trey and I went to the mall in Slidell looking for my dress I have been wanting and got coffee and ran some errands. We decided to go back to Chalmette for the night since we didn't really feel like dealing with Joe and Dana for the evening. We went to Sake Cafe and had some odd conversations.
So.... Marci
- had her period for a week and a half (yeah right)
- had 2 pregnancy scares
- never wanted any
- waited 6 months
- practically moved in every weekend
- had a key to the house
- came over and cleaned when no one was there
among other things...........
We watched barely legal and went to bed. Well I couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned for a long while.
Monday- We stayed in bed forever. We decided to take advantage of the holiday and hang out in bed till almost noon. We laughed and joked and he looked at me with that half smirk with his dimple and beautiful eyes. Just thinking about it makes me melt. I just can't believe we have been "official for almose 3 months. It feels like we have been together forever. It just feels so right. Like this is how I was meant to be. It is so great to have him feel the same way towards me. We are so in sync. I am so lucky to have found him now. It may not have worked out so well if I had found him at any other time. It is so funny I have so many connections to Robert and Trey, and so many near meetings. I am a firm believer in the phrase "everything happens for a reason"
We went to Slidell to Hobby Lobby and to meet Dana, the kids and Mrs. Terri for lunch. We headed to Mississippi. We went to Brit and Julie's and all the girls and kids went swimming and had wine and the boys went to play golf and drank beer. We had a lot of fun and Dana, Alisha and Mrs. Terri are trying to turn me into a Diamond girl. I like unique jewelry....they don't really get it. Although Alisha and Dana assure me that I will have a gorgeous antique engagement ring. They have already claimed they they will be the shopping helpers. Alisha....slightly intoxicated commented that my monogram will be MDM. Which she thinks is fun.....she likes the double letters....meaning the M's. Apparently I am and have been the adopted sister. (side comment- needs to be documented........ (millionth time I have made fun of him saying whatchamacallit, which the whole family does all the time but mr tony is famous for)(I called him on it at mothers day and he said "I was really beginning to love you. You are wayyy too much like Trey, ya'll are both smart asses, perfect for one another.")
Trey and I went back to Chalmette to drop off the machine and have a little alone time before he took me home.
Tuesday- Trey is in Mississippi. I ran some errands and now I am scrapbooking and catching up on some stuff.
Wednesday- I love hump day. I will be in Chalmette tomorrow evening....Dinner & a Movie night!
