Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list ten things you LOVE that begin with that letter. Afterward, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.
Granted to me by the illustrious
beatnikside, who gave me a T.
1. Tits. Need I say more?
2. Tori Amos. I've been a fan since "Little Earthquakes" - quite an album to find out about at age 10. She was my first concert when I was 13, and while I don't like everything she's done, she's one of the few musicians I've liked but hate their fan base and whenever they talk. (My general rule is that no musicians should talk, ever.) I've only seen her in concert twice, back in '94 and '96 *geezer voice* when she used to play just her the the piano. Now she's all Botoxed out and creepy, but her last record was quite good. I still have some Tori drawing I made and a file of Tori stuff, backin my fanboy youth.
3. Transformers. Only Generation 1, of course. Optimus Prime was my hero growing up.
4. Travel and expense reports. Well, not filing them, but they mean I was on a business trip, and free travel is a good thing.
5. Tennis. I'll watch pretty much anyone play, really. And it's the one sporting event I've actually gone to in the past few years. I started watching for real when the Williams sisters got into the game, and have been hooked ever since. How hooked? I've delayed nooky for it, folks. Nooky!
6. Tempura. Fried = delicious. Japanese fried = heaven.
7. Tush. And not the ZZ Top song - more the Serena Williams variety. (Side note: Hooray to Serena to taking back world No. 1 and not dropping a set at the US Open. She's back in shape and kickin' ass!)
8. Television. I've been watching it as far back as I can remember, and learned more from it than school. I really can't understand anti-TV parents who limit their kids' TV time to an hour a day, as if TV rots your brain. I ended up at Harvard right alongside those kids; they were a whole lot less fun. Plus, TV keeps me employed!
9. "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." As much as I have liked this show from the start back in the Kilborne days, it really took a leap when Stewart came on, and fought back against our post-9/11 world by sincerely pointing out its absurdity. And our times are so absurd that TDS has more cred than actual TV news.
10. "This One's Gonna Bruise" by Beth Orton. Bruisingly beautiful song.
