Landing in Chicago

Jul 22, 2008 18:27

In Chicago, living for the week 21 floors up, next to the Riverwalk, and a few blocks away from the Navy Pier overlooking Lake Michigan.

Again, with each other airport I visit, I see even more how ugly Philly's airport is. O'Hare International Airport at least attempts to be pretty.

Chicago is weird to look at. It's big, yet open and wide. And they don't call it a Great Lake for nothing, that's for sure.

Have to go over my things for the conference tonight, and maybe I'll post a bit about vacationing in Wildwood, NJ. Rosemary already got started.

Looking forward to getting to know this new city for a little while. UNITY should be amazing, and who knows whom I may run into here. Meeting with a college friend in a half-hour, and I just found out that the delightful Amy Gahran is here, so maybe we can have a little We Media reunion.
