Bebe gave Wendy a minute before following her. Reaching the door, she sighed as she turned the knob and found it to be locked. Muttering under breath, Bebe pulled out a bobby pin and unlocked the door.
“This is getting ridiculous.” She moved to Wendy, ignoring her attempt to protest, and pulled her hair back. “I thought you were over this.”
“Over…this? I…” Her words were interrupted, and Bebe rubbed her back.
“Poor baby.” She waited until Wendy was done before continuing. “I meant over this whole fear of showing your vulnerability.” Gently pulling the brunette back she reached over and flushed.
Wendy sighed and grabbed some toilet paper to wipe her mouth. As Bebe wet a washcloth and set it on the back of her neck, she sighed slightly, “It’s perfectly natural to not want to show my vulnerability.”
“To some degree, sure.” Bebe shrugged, running her fingers through the dark brown hair. “But you, in the middle of morning sickness, took the time to lock the door to keep your partner out. That’s rather pathological, hun.”
A non-committal noise was Wendy’s response, though she leaned back into Bebe’s arms.
“Finished?”
He pregnant woman nodded, and the blonde helped her up. “Let’s go get you some water.”
Letting Bebe lead her to the kitchen, Wendy sighed. “Beebes, you know I wasn’t trying to insult you. I just, I don’t want anyone to see me like that.”
She nodded, letting go of Wendy once they reached the kitchen to pour her a glass of water. “I know, but you have to get over this. We’re in this together. And I love you. Kays?”
Wendy chuckled as Bebe handed her the glass, “Kay.”
