This afternoon is the first afternoon of auditions. Butters, I'm serious, you better be trying out for Mark. I will hunt you down and drag you onto the stage tomorrow if you're not up there today. Your happy chipmunk family video proved that you, out of the whole school, should be the lead.
I'm going out for Maureen, even though I'm nothing like her. My voice, however, is perfect for her.
I'm not really nervous about the audition. I mean, really, the worst thing that could happen is that I don't even get a background part. I do understand the politics of these things. I'm a sophomore, and if there's a Senior that can rock Maureen as well as I can, well, it'd be her last chance. That doesn't really bother me.
So, this afternoon, you can come see me perform Over the Moon.
