Back to Normal--Whatever That Is
School is open again, which I'm glad about. Don't get me wrong, most of a week off to snuggle with Bebe was fantastic, but I like school. And yes, I'm aware that makes me a nerd.
I'm not worried about exams, because none of the teachers are trying to make us learn the stuff we missed last week, they just don't want to push the schedules any further back. We're all behind, and that's ok, and it will be reflected in the material on which we are tested. I'm not even worried about most of you guys, unless you let the stress get to you. I'm not just referring to Tweek there, either. Relax a bit; being all tense about it will keep you from being able to think clearly.
The whole homecoming drama has me torn between being irritated and amused.
Yes, there's a dance. No, you don't have to have a date to attend. It really does not have to be all about being in a relationship or having a date. Just come and hang out. Relax a bit after exams. Stop making such a big deal over it.
And yes, perhaps it's "easy" for me to say that since I do have a date, but I'd be going even if I wasn't with Beebes.
Seriously, guys, I get that we're high schoolers, but do we really have to model our lives after Gossip Girl or some other ridiculous teen drama?
