(no subject)
couple of updates this week.
finally got my new glasses, this sits right on top cos it was really impt.
no more straining of my eyes to catch what is written on the projector screen :D
im unblind now.
got a plastic pair this time, first one.
the previous pairs i wore were metal with wierd shaped frames and really bright colours.
but the last one and this one were both black. once said black was against my colour principles to someone... but i guess it goes with my hair? haa, though my hair is really quite brown. another indication that i probably cant speak chinese well. anyway dont those racially sensitive comments always refer to us chinese as black haired yellow skinned individuals? hmm, i seemed to be pretty rosy on the outside with nice smooth brown hair. see, even my external features deny me the possibility of being fluent in chinese anyway.
today had LA test, in the LT.
not a good idea but hey, we're not the ones in charge.

all the classes got their asses to the seats on time.
but the Ts didnt. so they tried to set the labtop up to flash a string of words, or two strings, apart from the underlined OR that sat in between. but couldnt get the porjector to work. so yep, 5 mins of my precious time gone. being the smart person in charge that she was and usually is, she wanted to dictate the questions to us. MIND YOU ITS AN ESSAY TEST. but no, we the lesser beings or spoilt people (thats what she threw at us) when we told her to write on the board instead. and then another 10 mins gone, poof! just like that. instead of giving us that 15 mins which was ours anyway, the time was given to us to warm the seats till our asses get fried nice, black and charred. and also to look that how we people are clearly being misguided in this education system by misguided individuals themselves. ho, the book title is conicidentally THE GUIDE too! they should learn from Raju more.
so given 2/3s the time that we we should have gotten, we had to chiong the essay. yes, as expected, i only managed to write out 2/3s of my bloody essay and handed it in coupled with a hard hearted attempt at concluding the essay. im waiting to see the grades, i had all the points ready but i didnt have time to write it down. there is a reason why the stipulated time is ONE HOUR and not TWO THIRDS OF AN HOUR BECAUSE YOUR T IS AN INCAPABLE LOSER. yup, they had the audacity to end on time. woohoo. im not expecting much this time.
brought home corr to play this weekend. been a long time before i brought it home.
haa. cant sight read the piece of hand due to poor technical skills. so i gotta practise since no one is taking over my place yet.
i didnt play except on mon and today on fri for the whole week. feel my grip is losening like crap. so im playing badly.
i dont want my playing to go rolling down the drain. i guess i cant pull myself out completely just like that, its killing my playing. need to continue to play, i guess i'll just do sbts once a week. to keep up the stamina :D
