Bonjour!
Well, I finally made it, woohoo!! Kuwait was such a bore!! Was stuck on lockdown in a hot room from 9am to 8pm until the buses finally took us to the airport. Good thing I had my laptop and other people had movies so a few of us just watched movies the whole time. Got to germany at 3am, got billeting across the street, took a 2 hour nap and had a nice shower. Dude, I was pretty stanky so I needed it =) Chilled at the airport for 3 hours and yeah, I'm the most forgetful person in the whole wide world now. Getting off the plane at germany I took my new sandals out of my backpack to rearrange some stuff and accidentally left them on the damn plane. Then while waiting for my plane to paris I left my plane ticket in the bathroom, thank god it was still in there when I went to look for it 30 minutes later. I need to stop being so forgetful =) My hotel is pretty decent, much better than I expected. But I do have internet access in my room, yay!! Dude, I can finally do something else with my laptop other than watching movies and putting pictures on it.
dude, I am the biggest lightweight ever!! I decided to go wandering around the neighborhood and I walked by a bar that was having happy hour and had tons of people so I drank a little bit. I was alredy tipsy after 1 beer, one fucking beer!!! So i had one more and came back to my room kinda drunk. But I did eat some damn good food before leaving. They have this thing hear in france called a croque and basically its a better version of a grilled cheese and ham sandwich and they put a fried egg on top. Oh my god I was in heaven (I'm addicted to cheese so of course it was good). But if I keep eating that junk then I'll gain 10 pounds before I go back. Also took my first bubble bath in over a year, soooo relaxing.
Its day 2 and you're probably wondering why I'm even in my hotel room, I should be out in the city, right? Well, its pouring rain outside and I didnt bring anything with a hood or an umbrella. Its their hot month, its not supposed to be raining right now!! So I'm waiting for it to stop raining for a little while so I can go to the shops nearby and buy anything to keep me from getting drenched. Its supposed to rain for the next 5 days =( I'm gunna be one wet tourist and not in the good way.
