(no subject)
This is just a long, very random post. I had some things in my head and I felt like sharing.
Now its time for my opinion on Episode 3... I thought it was a decent movie, I didnt go into it thinking it would be the best movie ever. But Lucas really does not know how to write a love story. Plus he made Padme the dumbest chick on the planet just because she was in love. She used to be a freakin queen now she just stares into space and drools over her still whiny, pathetic boy of a husband. But I do give it points because it made us yell at the tv while we were watching it. Anakin was just pissing us off so much we had to yell. Also I think R2 was quite awesome and hilarious, he's still my favorite star wars character.
I also saw Sin City this weekend, too. That movie was sweet and I think everyone should go see it (not sure when it came out so I dont know if its still in theaters). Its almost all black and white, tons of celebs in it, very violent and I love how they replicate the film noir of the old days (with voice overs and everything).
We had a pretty bad sandstorm on sunday night and totally forgot to put the windows up on the humvee so the interior was covered in dust. All of our rooms all covered in a layer of dust from the air conditioners blowing it in while we slept. Even the office had dust all over the place when we got in monday morning. So we've been cleaning like crazy for the past 2 mornings just trying to recover from the storm. Dude, the desert sucks. Now its starting to almost get around 110 in the afternoons now, eeew.
I think dental boy is going to try to visit me again in another week or two =) Yay!!
As most of you already know my mom is completely nuts. We only get along about half the time but its hard for me to leave her because I'm pretty much all she has. She doesn't date and I'm her only child. She cried for a week the last time I moved out right before I got deployed. I moved all my stuff into her garage to hold until I got back from Iraq. Well, she decided a few weeks ago to unpack all my stuff and set up my old room. She sent me an email saying that she unpacked my stuff and it would be better for her that I continue to live with her. She has 2 jobs and works 60-70 hours a week so she's almost never home. I just dont think she likes to live in that house by herself. I need some advice from people. Will I be too old to be living with my mom? Also for anyone who has been to her house, you know how she has been trying to remodel the kitchen for god knows how many years now? Well, she is finally almost finished with it!! Yay, her house is starting to actually look like a normal home.
Aaron, I mailed off a picture CD to you the other day. It just has a couple of videos on it, like a tour of our house and office here, plus some random pictures of us at this FOB. Its pretty gay, you'll see =)
Now its time for another exciting day of work, plus guard duty in the afternoon. Woohoo, I'm so excited I cant contain myself!!
