Okay....so its now 430 in the morning and I'm just now getting home from AMC (I got off at 3)
First thing that happened when I walked out Side: I slipped and fell and got completely soaked!! I was so fucking pissed....so i changed into a pair of shorts and an undershirt I had in the car so that I could at least be dry (although I was fucking freezing). Then I started scraping the Ice off my car.
It took me 15 minutes or so to scrape off all the ice. There was another guy in the parking lot also, (the one dumbass customer of mine watching a 1am movie), but I did feel bad so I went over and helped him scrape the ice off his car too. I made sure that he was able to leave and everything before I left. (He was actually fairly nice) After I did that I started my long trek home...
About 5 minutes into my journey I had to turn around and backtrack because I75 north bound was shut down. So I had to take Cobb Parkway (41) all the way home. I was listening to the radio and They said there had been hundreds of wrecks already and that there were 4 or 5 fatalities. One of the fatal car wrecks was at 75north and Barrett Parkway. There was also a Jack-knifed/overturned tractor-trailer on 85 north. and they completely shut down 285 for 30 minutes because it was so bad.
So anyways, I stopped for gas (all 21 dollars of it, for only 11 gallons), and went inside. I got a cup of hot chocolate and talked to the clerk for a minute. I was telling him my adventures in Ice-scraping... After about 5 minutes I was ready to go, so I was getting ready to pay and he says "The hot chocolates on me tonight, but the gas is still on you." I was stunned.... I said thanks and left....
and now here I am at 445 in the morning telling all you this great story...(ok its not so great, but whatever)
I guess the moral is: Help a guy scrape Ice off his car, and you will get free hot chocolate.
hmmmmmmmmm...maybe people aren't so bad after all.....
